The best breakfast I have ever had, especially the Eggs Benedict! We plan to eat here every time we visit Carmel.

Quaint, awesome: tasty Eggs Benedict (deep, rich and lemony); my simple guilty pleasure - a stack of the (thin and wonderfully light) buttermilk pancakes!

The food here is insane. It is so good. The pancakes, so thin and honestly the best ive ever had.. The paintings at this restaurant are beautiful yet hilarious with the subtlr additions to the paintings. This restaurant is seriously top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant. Very casual, moderate prices, superb food. Just go and try it for yourself.

Great bfast/lunch location in Carmel. Very cozy - like most restaurants in area, space at a premium. Good selection, definitely notch or two above diner food. Service was outstanding. Had unhappy toddler with us, server went above the call of duty to keep her happy and fed.

We came here at 1:45pm, but they were already closed. Also they don't accept credit cards. Bad business.

This restaurant is obviously one of the most pleasant restaurants in the neighborhood. Anytime I come there I am deeply happy. They always keep their very high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they give. You will be always satisfied with this place. Warmly recommended.

Amazing ambient, food and attention! The staff was lovely to my parents who don't speak great English. The dishes are abundant and we actually weren't able to finish them! Definitely worth a visit. However, I'd recommend you arrive early since it gets quite busy at around 9am.

Breakfast time. It’s very good. Ordered blintz. Very tasty. Ordered one more portion after eating one. $12 for order sound reasonable. This The Little Swiss Cafe look small but very comfortable. Atmosphere feeling homey. Nice location. Just one not good thing. They are not accepting credit card.

I love a good brunch spot a s Little Swiss Cafe does not disappoint. The waffle is amazing, it has a bit of malt or some flavoring I can't quite put my finger on. It is one of the best waffles I've had. Get the two egg and hash special then add the waffle for a dollar more. Trust me it is the only deal you'll find within the city limits of carmel-by-the-sea. Also, the corned beef hash is homemade and really delicious.

This place takes cash only! I was lucky to spot the tiny, unnoticeable sign! And if you need an ATM they don’t have one, you’d have to go a few blocks down to get cash back. Also, our server didn’t come by until about 15 minutes of sitting down.

We visited this place on the recommendation of Barb, the owner of the Quiet Wooded Guest College. A great recommendation. A fast friendly staff and the restaurant had a nice quaint vibe. We were told to try the pancakes and the waffles but customers leaving the restaurant. The waffle is a great, but what you must have is the chicken apple sausage. That was the food highlight of the day. A quick note, it is cash only. The is a Chase ATM a block east and then north.

If you want a quick bite to eat at Carmel by the ocean,this is a good place. Friendly staff, cute place, and good food. If you go further in the restaurant, make sure to take a good look at the wall paintings, they'll give you a good laugh. It's like playing"I spy" but with a whole wall instead of just a book.

My husband and I love this place. It’s quaint and has amazing pancakes and waffles. The wall murals are beautiful and have humorous details if you look close. Just make sure you have cash!

Meh. Nice staff, for the most part. Had to ask for refills on my coffee. Food was okay. Not worth the cost. The paintings on the wall were gorgeous and funny and it is a cozy little spot.

It is a very charming place. We had some dessert there after lunch! Their cheese blintzes is amazingly creamy, they serve it warm with sour cream and fresh strawberries... Highly recommended.
